ABOUT THE
DERBY CLUB:
Derby Club patrons enjoy easy access to the top tracks across the United
States, hassle free wagering at track odds and a beautiful location on the
beach at the Ventura County Fairgrounds at Seaside Park in Ventura.
The Derby Club features full service bars and restaurants with varied menu offerings
from a snack bar to a full service restaurant. Ask about our "Winner's
Circle" Memberships, and all of the great advantages they provide!
The Derby Club features outstanding meeting spaces for corporate, non-profit
and gatherings.
LEVELS OF SERVICE:
The Shore Room is actually the entire ground floor of the Derby Club. It is roughly equivalent to the general admission areas at the live tracks. Snack bar-style food service and cocktail and beverage service are available.
The Surfside
Room is located on the second floor, and guests are provided with table service
for food and beverages, along with upgraded furnishings. The Surfside Room is
comparable to the Clubhouse level at the live tracks.
The top level of service and comfort at the Derby Club is the elegant Island View Club, with its more upscale restaurant-style food and beverage service, panoramic ocean view and outdoor deck.
DIRECTIONS:
Ventura County Fairgrounds is located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 1 hour north of Los Angeles and about 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara. From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) northbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit or the California Street exit. Turn left towards the ocean to Harbor Blvd., turn right on Harbor and continue until you reach Ventura County Fairgrounds at the corner of Harbor and Figueroa.
From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) southbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit, make an immediate right on Harbor Blvd. and proceed to Ventura County Fairgrounds.
